The washers serve as the perfect strike plate to complement the cups. All cups and washers are countersunk for screwing in, except for the 1/4" cup, which uses a barbed press fit. If you need to remove the magnet later, simply file a notch on the cup’s side to create a pry point for easy lifting. Made from zinc-plated steel and imported, this washer matches a 1/4" magnet with an outer diameter of 3/8" and a thickness of 1/8". The center hole is 1/8" in diameter and countersunk to accept a #4 wood screw. Please note that the cups and washers themselves are not magnetic.
