Hart Design Steel Magnet Washer, 3/8 in. features steel magnet cups and washers designed to enhance the power and versatility of rare earth magnet discs. These cups can increase the holding strength of rare earth magnets by up to four times, making them incredibly effective for various applications. The steel washers serve as an ideal strike plate to complement the cups, ensuring a secure hold. All cups and washers are countersunk for screw installation, with the exception of the 1/4" cup which is barbed for a press fit. If you need to remove the magnet later, a simple notch can be filed on the side of the cup to create a pry point for easy lifting. Made from zinc plated steel and imported, this washer matches a 3/8" magnet, has an outer diameter of 1/2", and requires a #4 screw for mounting. Note that cups and washers themselves are not magnetic.
